May Favourites

Hey! This is my May favourites post and for my next favourites post i thought I'd do something different. I desided to do a summer favourites so the next one will be in the end of August or in the Beginning of September :)

My first May favourite is the Dove self tanner

I practically made a review on that and i can say it again, it's really good, works well and it's sold in two shades, medium and dark, mine is medium.

This is Manhattan clear face foundation

Again i already made a whole review on it here and have nothing else to add to it.

Next up is Heidi Klum perfume Shine Rose

Okay, i promise, this is the last thing that I've already talked about :D but i added the other picture so that you could see the beautiful packaging with Heidi Klum engraved into it :)

This is Anny nailpolish Scandalous lives of N.Y.

This nailpolish is amazing, I'm not only talking about this colour but the whole Anny. The reason of this one in my favourites is simply because i love the colour. I found myself applying it on my nails repeatedly during the whole May. It is also very easy to apply and even my right hand looks okay after painting my nails. It stays on super long and doesn't peel off at all, you can see it in the picture, during the 8 days i didn't fix the polish. (i know that the colours are a bit off but it's just the lighting, the first picture looks more like it looks in real life though)

Last beauty item is Manhattan trio effect blush

I use the white one the way i showed in my Beauty tips for girls post. I use the pink one as a blush, I'm not too brave with it so most times when i use that colour i remove most of it because it seems like too much :D lastly the brown one is as bronzer or to use as blush too or in summer as powder, if you have tanned skin, which i definitely don't have.

And this is my only non-beauty item and that is Mokate choco dream hot chocolate.

This thing is amazing, it really tastes like real hot chocolate. Some others that i have tried are kinda tasteless but this one was smooth and nice :) you can either do it with water or milk but i found it good when most is water and then a little bit or milk too :) this one is dark chocolate but there are also one called diavollo and it's with cherry and chilly (chilly sounds weird but I'd actually like to try it) and the other one is called aniello and it's with peach :)

So this was all of my Favourites of May, i hope you enjoyed that :)

The 30 Day Snap

Well hello again, you! Yes i've got another 30 day challenge coming up, starting from June.
As i was browsing my favourite blogs on blogger, i stumbled across Louise's and found this amazing idea to take a snap every day, through the whole June. I really think that i can keep up with this one because i don't always have to write something, sometimes the picture says more than a 1000 words :) This challenge doesn't have any specific theme each day, i just capture a moment from my every day life and upload it here, and when i feel like writing, i'll type something with the picture too. So if you don't read her blog (which should be fixed here) then i tag you to do this, i think it's fun and it really motivates you to do something interesting during your day, so that you'd actually have something interesting to post here, not just like, hey, it's me just chilling on my couch with a bowl of ice cream on my lap :)

30 Day Blog Challenge #30

And it has come to an end! I know i haven't probably been the best at this challenge but i have tried posting as often as i could. Anyway the last challenge is to name 3 good things that have happened to me this past 30 days :) i really couldn't pick only 3 so I'm gonna tell you 6 good things to double it up :) i don't remember the exact time they happened but here goes :)

*Liebster Award - I was nominated for the liebster award by Miss Mecca Beauty
*I hit 10, 15 and 20 followers - yup during these 30 days i ended up getting 23 followers by now, before starting this challenge i think i had 8 or something under 10, so this is pretty awesome, thank you! :)
*3000 views - i also hit 3000 views on my blog, before i had 1000 something
*Meeting Rasmus Rändvee and others - as you read from my mother's day celebrating post, i met some celebrities, for Estonia ofcourse
*Approved blogger by e-tailPR - a few days ago i got an email from e-tailPR telling me that I'm an approved blogger by them and i can start working with them (going to learn more about that in summer, when it's a rainy day)
*Graduating art school - So this happened just today, I'm not graduated yet tho, today was just talking about our final paintings and getting our grades (i got a 5), the real thing happens in a week, next Monday. I'm talking more about that in my future post, when the actual graduation is also over :)

So i guess i had  a pretty good 30 days, I'm happy anyway, maybe it's just the feeling that I'm finally free from 5 years of art school :)

My First...

Hey! Today i thought i'd make a little tag kinda thingy :) I haven't actually seen it anywhere so i don't know if this tag already exists or not, if it doesn't then i started a new tag :P So i tag all my readers to do this.
It's about my first...makeup products or this can be about anything :) i desided to do it with makeup products.

So my first powder was Rimmel March Perfection.

This is not my picture as you can probably tell but i just didn't have the powder anymore.

I really liked it but...it's time to move on! i'm not going to write anything else because i already wrote about it in my blog post, many weeks ago :)

My first perfume was Esprit connect

I still have a little bit of that and it smells actually very good, it's not too sweet but it's jusr great, i remember, i got it for Christmas :)

My first foundation was Pupa active light

This is way too dark for me but that's because i got it as a freebie, if i'm not too lazy in summer and tan enough then maybe i'll be able to use it after summer.

My first eyeshadow kit was Rimmel 740 fever

Here's the swatch

As you can see, i haven't used it very much, i just don't wear eyeshadows but i though the colours were nice so i just had to buy it, thinking that maybe some day i will start using this, and maybe i will :) on the box it says that it compliments green eyes but pink just suits everyone, to my mind.

My first mascara was Rimmel extra super lash

I remember it being a really good mascara but by now, the brush is just really weird from the end, as you can see. i think i've wiped it into cotton pad and then all the cotton hasn't come off and then it's all gross and stuff :/

My first lip gloss was Bourjois effect 3D max

Umm again, i don't usually wear lip gloss but the colour was so nice so i bought it anyway, i think i've only used it like 7 times the most and i got it almost a year ago, maybe even more than a year ago. but if you do wear lip gloss then it's good one to go with, it has nice colours from orange to bright red and it's got a nice brush and a nice texture.

My first lipstick was Bourjois 11 rose innocence

I'm in love with this, i still wear it, i've got some others too but this is usually the one i still go with :) it's pigmented, it's got nice colour and texture, it stays on and the packaging is nice, it's got everything :P

Okay well my first phone was Nokia

Nope, no it wasn't 3310, i was better than that :D Unfortunately i don't remember the name, i only remember, it was nokia, so i went to google pictures and typed nokia. i was so desperate to find it that i went on second page, on google pictures, seriousely, who does that. So i finally found it but then it didn't have the name, so it's a mystery.

And another first i'll throw for you is my first blog post was on 12th March, this year :)

I hope you liked it and i hope you'll do this tag, if you want to ofcourse

Approved Blogger by e-tailPR

Hey! On Monday  i received an email from e-tailPR saying that I'm an approved blogger by them! Yay :)
I don't exactly know what it means haha but as much as i understood is that after getting the email, i have to mention them on my blog post, that's what I'm doing right now. And then i can start connecting and communicating with companies and i have to send them email asking samples to talk about in my blog and i have to include my blog link in the email too. And if they find my blog suitable then i can receive the samples? Anyway, I'm looking forward to what ever it brings to me and well that's what they say about this thing :D

Beauty Tips For Girls

Hey guys! So yesterday i went to a little event called Beauty Tips For Girls. and when i say little, i mean little, there was about 15 of us i think, i went there with my 2 friends. there were 3 ladies talking to us about hair, nails, makeup and all this kind of beauty stuff :) while i was there i thought that i could make a blog post about it, i learned some new stuff, obviousely some of the thigs they talked about, i already knew.

Okay so first hair:
*They said that if you want to colour your hair on your own, without going to the salon and if you want to go black, then one of the worst to use is Palette, palette black is really intense and if you want to go any different colour later, it's gonna be really hard, they did not recommend it at all.
*They did say tho that first time ever colouring your hair you should definately go to a salon
*did you know that blondes have about 150 000 hairs, brunettes have about 100 00 hairs and redheads have about 50 000 hairs in their head, there's about 3000 hairs in 1cm2.
*You should wash your hair every other day or less, washing every day isn't good.
*You should change your shampoo atleast once a year (i do it after every time i run out of a bottle)
*Always use conditioner, when you make your hair wet, it will open your hair so that it would go clean, you use shampoo, which leaves the hair open, when you put conditioner, it will close the hair and the dirt won't get in. (imagine your hair string as a spruce cone) if you spray conditioner after, it will only make good, only that wouldn't be enough tho.
*did you know that after about 3 months without washing your hair, it will start cleaning itself
*Cutting your hair won't make it grow faster
*Hair grows in 2-10 years period, after that your hair will stop growing, that's why some people have normally longer hair than others.
*Don't wear pony tail all the time, it will damage your hair.
*When you straigten or blow dry, ALWAYS use heat protection, again it won't damage your hair that much then.
* If you're in a camp or some place with no water for a while and you maybe don't have dry shampoo, starch or baby powder will work the same.

On to nails:
*Always use base coat, if you don't then that's probably why your nails are yellow.
*Gel nails isn't the best choice, it will damage your own nail so much and now they have a theory that the UV lamp, they use, might cause cancer
*if you want gel nails, then a gel polish would be a better go.
*You know when the skin starts to come on your nail? then to push it away, don't use metallic tool, prefer wood or plastic or you can even do it with your own nails.
*when the nail skin is really dry and hard, don't cut (or even worse bite) it off, just use some creams that will soften it up.
*Don't bite your nails, it's not good for them and well it doesn't look pretty at all.

Lastly makeup:
*Test foundation colour on your chin line
*Always remove makeup before sleep, it makes you look so much older in the future and the skin must be able to breathe.
*they said that you should actually remove makeup right after school but i'm way too lazy for that.
*Drink LOTS of water, it makes skin much healthier looking and feeling.
*When you have had a bit of sun burn on your face or you skin is just dry, then don't use foundation, it will show off much more.
*Foundation or any product is always better if it has SPF.
*did you know that there are pinky and yellowish tones of foundation, you have to find out, which matches your skin tone better.
*Use different masks and moisturisers, they always make skin look much better and awake.

Now one lady took a model and showed makeup on her, and well my friend was picked as a model :) so i'm going to tell you a little bit about that too.
firstly she made sure, which tone of foundation goes with her skin, and she said you can either apply it with a brush, fingers or a little sponge, she used a sponge. after that she put on blush and then we moved on to eyes. pink colours are always a sure go, a bit more challenging colours are blue and purple. she picked pink and dark pink/brown. if you want to use eyeliner too, then you should always use atleast a little bit of eye shadow or it will leave a nice little stripe on the lid, you don't want that :D then she put on mascara and moved on to lips. if you have lips with no certain outer line, you can use lip liner but it isn't really recommended for younger people. she went for all pink look so the lips were pink too, lips were filled with a glossy pink lip gloss. If you want to make it look like you have bigger eyes then use white liner on the water line and on the lid, exactly at that place where the eye pupil is. also use white or light shade under eyebrows and well the place where i drew with pancil on the drawing, marks the light colour places :D (sorry about that nose)

In the picture you can also see a weird line from nose to eyebrow, that shows the shape and lengt that your eyebrows should be and always make your brows wider and bigger from the inner corner.
She also said that you can use white on chin, if it's too small and if anything's too big just use bronzer.
So this is the finished look on the model :)
Just look at her hair :P

Beautiful Anita :)

30 Day Blog Challenge #26 / Review

Hey! So today's challenge is my favourite makeup product at the moment and i thought, it would be a great time to make a review. I've been thinking of reviewing this foundation for a while now but haven't had the time yet :)

What i'm talking about is Manhattan clear face foundation

It's natural mat makeup with SPF 15. Moisturising, light coverage, slightly mattifying. I love this foundation, it's in 70 vanilla and i find this matching well with my skin tone. I bought it for 6€ and i think it's really cheap for so good product. It blends in quite easily. the tube says light coverage, that's what it is, so if you're looking for a bit heavier coverage then you can just use powder with the foundation.

The only thing that i'd probably change about the packaging is that i don't really like how you get it out of the tube. it's so liquidy and then even with a slightest sqeeze it just flies all over the place and then i've got too much of it on my hand and, it's just a waste of product. so what i would do is that i would put a pump and it would be much easier to get it out.

Over all i love this foundation and the fact that it's got SPF 15 is just a huge bonus in summer because let's face it, who remembres to put sun cream on face and we all hate when it gets all burned and stuff.

I've got some news again too :) i just added another section on my blog called Button sharing. You can go check it out, it's mainly for people with their own blog and would like to swap buttons with me. i already did it with Beauty To Bakes (you should go see her blog, it's really good) as you can see and i think it's such a good idea to get your blog for more people to see :) so if you're interested, go check it out! :)

My Nailpolish Collection

Hey! It's been a while since a proper post again but I've just been busy.
Today I'm gonna show you my nailpolish collection, i might be a little obsessed with nailpolish, i wear it all the time :D
So that's the box that i hold my polishes, and under is what it looks like from the inside, i don't have all here, i couldn't find them, they're all over the house sometimes :)

most of them

A few nailpolishes that I'd like to point out because theyre not the usual ones.

Firstly the Anny nail serum, i showed that to you in my haul post but now I've tried it too and it's really working, my nails are much stronger and before they were like stripy or i don't know how to describe but anyway thery're not anymore :)

Then i have Rimmel mattifying topcoat, before i saw that i thought that i can only buy matt polishes separately but then i saw that they sell it like that too and i was really surprised of how good it works, it doesn't stay on long tho, about 2 days.

Next one is Pupa disco neon nailpolish and this one is cool because it starts glowing in disco lights aka ultralights and i love the colour too, it's a nice hot pink but Pupa has it in many different tones.

Then i have my 3 cracking nailpolishes, black, golden and pink, 2 of them is Beyu and 1 is some weird cheap one but it works really good, they all stay on for atleast 4 days :)

Lastly i have a really cool one, it's Pupa magnetic nail art kit in violet. It has one nailpolish and 2 different magnets in it, one leaves diagonal stripes, other leaves horizontal, as you can see on the box too and i just really like it :)

So that is all about my nailpolishes, hope you liked it :)

Bucket List

Hey guys! As you may notice, i created the bucket list section on my blog, up there with about me, home and links. Ofcourse i'm going to add stuff to that list and also going to cross down the goals that i have completed. So go and check that out and i recommend you to make your own too, it's a fun thing to do :) Again, have a nice weekend, summer is so so close! :)

Friday Wants #3

Hey! I can't believe it's Friday again, this week seriously went by like 2 days, i guess the feeling that summer is ridiculously close makes the weeks just fly.

Anyway for this week's makeup want is Eos lip balm

Again, everybody is raving about them, making reviews on them on their blogs and Louise just made one too so apparently they're really good and i have to try them, I'm gonna get them, somehow, hopefully.

From fashion, since summer is here i look for clothes with more summery patterns and i saw these jeans on Ted Baker web page
Ted Baker has really beautiful stuff but they're so god damn expensive but hey, dream big or don't dream at all! So yeah i like these jeans, would be nice to wear in summer with maybe a little colder nights...

Lastly from accessories while i was surfing on Ted Baker, i couldn't help but notice this lovely phone case
Again, something that i couldn't buy already because i don't have an iPhone and i believe this case is only for iPhones. Why i love it though is because again the floral print just gives me the summer feeling and i love summer, who wouldn't.

Hope you can relate to some of my wants, have a lovely weekend! :)

30 Day Blog Challenge #20

Something you always think "what if......." about?
Well i think this won't come a surprise to you that i quite often think "What if i was born in the UK? What if i was living in London?"
I think or, well i know that my life would be completely different, to be honest, everything would just be way cooler....but I'm okay with my current life too :)

Mothers Day in the old town

Hello! As you know then is was mothers day on Sunday, atleast in Estonia and some other countries it was. So first time ever my family and "some" friends went to a mothers day concert which actually took place for the 14th time. the reason i put some in quotes is that there was about 15 of us all together. Okay, enough chit chatting, this is going to be more like pictures post where i show you what happened because i thought it was really cool :)

These are all pictures of the old town in the capital Tallinn. it's actually really beautiful, i think i've never walked in that place but it was really lovely.

The concert began at 2pm and it was suprisingly big, i thought it's going to be a small one. The venue was so beautiful, it was right in the centre of the old town and we were surrounded by big houses with red roofs, as it is inherent to Tallin's old town. The concert itself was free and for charity, you could call on two numbers, one gave 2€ for charity, the other gave 8€. i gave 2€ :)

The stage

The crowd

Firstly performed some two bands, i didn't really pay much attention on them because i was waiting for the two main performers.

Rasmus Rändvee

So he was the best performer to my mind, he's Rasmus Rändvee, if you're not from Estonia then you probably know nothing about him but he was in Estonian idol, didn't win tho but he recently won the best newcome of the year prize.

Mihkel Raud and Lenna Kuurmaa

Lenna being interviewed

The last performer was Lenna, she's a really good singer too and i really enjoyed listening to her, it was a nice end to the concert :)

After concert we waited for awhile becuase the performes were giving autographs, and i got one from my favourite :')

Rasmus giving me autograph, his autograph, me, Anu Välba, The camera man
After getting autographs we went walking through the old town to get our cars.

The beautiful town again

So we drove out of the old town to a mall where we went for a dinner. The place was called Baby Back Ribs and BBQ and as you understand, it was a BBQ place. i must say the interior was very cozy and service was so good. our waiter was really friendly and he talked to us like we were his old mates :) it made me feel really good about that place and wanting to go back there, food was also delicious, bit too spicy for me though.

Cherry chocolate milkshake, chiken burger

So it was a great day, hope you enjoyed yours too, wether you had mothers day or not :)
