30 Day Snap #30 | I hate being sick!

Hey! So as you can probably tell from the title, i'm not feeling too good today. I woke up with sore throat and stiff neck, who gets sick during summer?! It's so weird and I have no power to get up the couch. I also have no appetite what so ever, so let me introduce you my today's breakfast, lunch and dinner! :) Not the best way to end the 30 day snap, huh

Review | The Body Shop Face Mask

Hellooo!! This morning I woke up with a feeling of doing a review on my blog. I looked around my room and then I remembered that I said, I'll make a review on this mask here. Sooo, i've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I've got some clear thoughts about how I feel about this product.

Obviousely it's no suprise that The Body Shop products are good, I have never had a bad experience with them. The price (16€) was a tiiipsy bit too much for me but now I feel like it was worth it. Tomorrow, as I said before, I'm hopefully going to town, which can only mean shopping and today I just recieved an email from The Body Shop saying thet they're having huge discounts starting today, so I just though, what a perfect timing! The products are 15-60% off and I already checked their web store discount section and wrote down some stuff that I want to buy.

So here's what the package says: Honey & Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask. Cleanse, polish and moisturise in one, with oatmeal grains and Community Trade organic honey. Normal/Dry skin.

What I'm saying is, first, a very important part about a good product for me, the smell. It is a-mazing! I know it's honey and oat but it seriousely smells like almond, don't know why but, me like it!

When I first stick my finger in it, yeah, then I immediately felt how soft is is and really light, it's grainy but it was no suprise since the package already mentioned it. It was really easy to apply and you know when sometimes, when you put on face mask, it just starts dripping down, well this one didn't. It was the perfect consistency, you could leave a nice thick enough layer of it on for the whole 15 minutes that you have to let it sit on there and during that time, not a single drop came off. The sales woman in the shop said that it's a clay mask and then I was like oh, i've never tried a clay mask before so I was very interested and I am really pleased right now, I love how it feels on my skin

This is how much you abouts need for one use

Rinsing it off is a pain in the arse, atleast for me it is, water gets everwhere and then it is all just woaghh (that's my written version of the noise you make when something is bad). Anyway, I even felt the amazing smell while washing it off, it filled my nostrils :D When my face was clean I just went over with a soft towel and after first time I didn't feel anything different, I was kinda disappointed but I'm pretty sure that with  these kind of face masks it's normal. I think that I've actually only used the ones that last only for one time so...

After about third or fourth use I started to noice that my face is different, it was naturally more moisturised, not only after using a moisturiser and even my blemishes weren't that bad anymore. So I give this product two thumbs up and I can honestly say that it was worth the money. It lasts so long, I've used it about 8 times now and you can barely see that I have used it at all :)

30 Day Snap #28 | Strawberries are hell

Heyy! So today, about an hour ago a woman stepped by our house and brought us some stawberries. I thought that oh what a lovely suprise, yeah I'm gonna eat them now. They were so delicious and well I went through so many strawberries that now my stomach hurts like hell. I love strawberries but right now I just hate them! Anyway, after I finish this post here I'm going straight into editing my today's second post, which is going to be a review. And omg I'm so exited, I'm literally like 1 follower away from 50, which means only 1 follower away from my first giveaway. Tomorrow I'm going shopping and I'm going to see what I want to give away :)

I just had to put this song here, it's too good!

My Every Day Beauty Routine

Hello! I've been planning this post for a while now and I'm finally doing it :) I'm talking more about my summer routine because when it's school time I simply don't have the time to do all that, I'm a heavy sleeper and usually wake up when I hear the last ring of my last minute alarm clock, yeah it's a shame.

So first thing that I do after waking up is go to the toilet, who doesn't! Then every other day I take a shower in the morning because I want to wash my hair. For shampoo I use Midollo di bamboo restructuring shampoo, once it was in my monthly favourites too. For conditioner I use the same brand Midollo di bamboo, recharging mask. I know it's a mask but I use it as conditioner and it works well, I just leave it in for 5 minutes. Until my mask is on I use Playboy VIP Glam & Rich shower gel, it smells amazing! Then I wash off my mask/conditioner and omg my hair is so nice after that, it kinda fades away with few hours though.

When I come out of the shower I go to my room and I like to play my 'Get Up' playlist from my phone, this really gets me going with all the stuff, I do aaand I love to sing along, full on! :)

Then I spray on my Adidas action 3 ProClear deodorant and it's lotion time! For my arms and sholders I use Organic Tahiti Secret body lotion glitter. Since it's summer and my skin doesn't tan well, then I use a little help with my legs and I use the Dove Summer Glow nourishing self tanner.

When that is done, I'm going to mess around with my hair. Since I blow dry my hair I have to use heat protection, protecting your hair is very important, in the beginning I thought that oh what the heck who cares, but it really damages your hair, even if you use heat protection but it can definatelly help to reduce the damage! I know that my heat protection is from Schwarzkopf but I peeled off the label the other day, I really don't know why, so I can't tell you anything else. By that point I already have towel dried hair and then I take my Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Oil Miracle and put it in the ends of my hair. This gets rid of all the broken ends, I was so sceptic about this product when I first started using it but it really does get rid of  most of them, I literally see the ends falling to the floor when I use it! And I also use Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Moisture Kick leave-in spray conditioner, it should make my hair tangle free. Then I start blow drying, using Braun creation 1600, it's an old model but I like it, it has 2 different heats and you can also put it on cold and then it shoots cold wind, which is way less harmful for your hair, but see, the thing is, then hair takes so much longer to dry. When I'm done with blow drying, I use another leave-in spray, it's Affinage conditioner from hair care collection, I like to use it because it smells like strawberries!!! :)

Now I move on to my face. I try to take a good care of my face because I have very sensitive and dry skin. Also I can get quite allergetic about some products so I have to be really careful with what I put on my skin. First I clean my face with estonian product, cucumber face cleanser, it's pure nature so it's harmless for my skin, I use softstar cotton pads or cotton balls. Then I put on day cream, I have a tester from it and now, well I peeled off the top part and I can't see the whole name but I think it is Hahrin day cream. I really love it and I want a full size.

Makeup! I do it quite differently but here's a sample then. First I put on Manhattan clear face natural mat makeup SPF 15 foundation using makeup sponge or foundation brush. then I cover the blemishes and under eye circles with Rimmel Match Perfection concealer. Now, let's say that today I also feel like using eye shadow. Then first I put on my eye lids Too Faced Shadow insurance primer. Primer is especially nessesary in summer, when with all the hot weather your eye lids might get sweaty and then all the eye shadow will come off and you end up having the lovely panda look. Anyway, basically the only eye shadow that I use is Beyu duo eye shadow 17. For applying I use Makeup Factory shadow brush. I usually first put the lighter colour all over my lid and then since I suck with eyeliner, I put the darker brown on my lash line, it gives basically the same effect but softer, sometimes I also use the darker one in the crease of my lid. I then take my Manhattan Trio Effect blush rouge & highlighter and with Makeup Factory blush brush I take the blush colour and apply it on my cheeks. With my ring finger I put the light colour in the inner corner of my eyes, under my brow bone and where ever I want to highlight. Then I curl my lashes with I-dont-know-what-brand lash curler, I feel like I can't not use curler because it really openes the eyes. Then I apply Beyu beauty queen volume mascara, which is waterproof. Then lastly I do my lips. In summer I like to use lip gloss and so I put on Bourjois Effect 3D Max gloss in 14 and that's my makeup done :)

When it's face mask day, I use The Body Shop Honey & Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask. It clenses, polishes and moisturises. Obviousely I first take off my makeup and I also cleanse my face with the same cucumber cleansing water that I use in the morning. I give myself this little spa treatment about 3 times a week. I've tried lots of face masks but The Body Shop one I really love, it's gentle on my skin and it works well, The Body Shop products are all so good but the price is kinda heavy, I'm willing to sacrifice for good skin though.

Then I just choose my clothes and something from my jewlery collection, have breakfast and get on with my day.

It's night time! First I remove my makeup, eyes go off with Bourjois Maxi Format gentle eye makeup remover. Usually I use only that but since it's so close to end then I have to save as long as I can so for face I use Nivea face makeup remover. Lastly I put on another tester that I'm hoping to get the full size soon, Garnier Moisture Match normal to dry skin moisturizer. And that should be my daily routine done :) I truly apologize for the especially crappy pictures this time, I seriousely don't know what was going on with my phone :/

30 Day Snap #26 | I'm a cook

I'm not a cook! But today, over a long time, I tried cooking something.
I made pasta bolognese and for my suprise it turned out super delicious :P When was the last time you cooked anything and what?

I ♥ summer

It was waaay too hard for me to make one picture so I just typed into google
I love summer and screen shotted the result :P

Hey! So I was watching missglamorazzi's videos and i saw her doing the I heart spring tag. It was interesting and I thought I'd do the same but changing questions to summer :)
I apologize for the tags lately but I do have a proper post coming very very soon and also an exiting announcment!! oh oh exited? what could it be? who knows? ;)

My favourite summer nailpolish?
Well i'm going to have to go with my all time favourite colour of mine, that is ANNY Scandalous Lives of N.Y.

Must-have lip colour for this summer?
Hmmmm really hard to choose but i think that i'll say a lip gloss, Bourjois Effect 3D Max, it is so good lip gloss and i especially like the shade 14, it kinda light pinky colour, really summery :)

My favourite summer dress?
I really like this one, I got it when I went to Sweden with my class, it's from H&M. About Sweden, I said that I'm going there in the beginning of July, well, I'm not, it was canceled again, I think we're going in the end of August now but then my friend can't come with us and I really want her to come with us, other way i'll be bored, so I don't know what to doo!!!

My favourite summer accessory?
I really really like this bracelet, I think it has such a summer feeling and I think it suits well with basically everything :)

Summer trend(s) that I'm most exited about this year?
Maybe floral? As you can see from my dress, I love floral, I know it's not a new thing but floral is always pretty, to my mind. and maybe some neon tones too for like nailpolishes. And from makeup, I think that in summer people are really trying the natural look, and yeah you don't have to have a heavy smoky eye when it's summer you know :) And here's a quick little tip, if you want a bit lighter foundation in the summer then mix it with your moisturizer, that way you don't get that heavy look and you save on foundation :)

My favourite summer perfume?
I think that all kinds of fresh perfumes go with summer very well, you don't want something sweet when it's hot weather, I don't atleast. So an example for fresh I'm saying Blumarine Innamorta Lovely Rose or Sergio Tacchini Precious Purple or Esprit connect(don't hae a pic of that). I have these both as testers right now and I really love them. I want the Innamorta in full size, I really hope to get it :)

What is summer like, where you live?
Oh Estonian summer can be very various, for exapmle, let's take yesterday: Morning, I don't know I was sleeping, around 12 it was really warm and kinda sunny, at about 5 it got sooo rainy and it was even thundering...for about 15 minutes, after that, the sun came out and it was warm again! That's often like that, one day it could be 30 degrees and then the other day it could be raining and 10 degrees.

My favourite thing about summer?
Well obviousely warm weather, warm weather leads to everything, swimming, wearing summer clothes, sun bathing etc.

My favourite summer song?
Mmmm maybe Overwhelmed by Rachel Platten, it just makes me want to go out and do everything :)

I really really really really ♥ summer :)

DIY Put to test | Face scrub for smooth legs?

Hello! A few days ago I said in my 30 day snap post that I'm testing out a DIY and here are the results. I found a DIY face scrub, from the internet, where I find most of my stuff, and well the title of the article said that it's face scrub for smooth legs. This got me interested so I thought I'd try it out and share the results with you. The recipe is super simple, all you need is half a cup of oil, a cup and a forth of sugar and 3tbls of citrus juice, i was using lime. You have to mix it all together and you'll end up with a bowl full of stuff looking like that.

It actually smells really nice, i guess it comes from citrus juice, so this is definately a bonus, cause i've tried some gross stuff that makes me want to vomit, one being egg and mayonnaise. Anyway, it makes me want to eat it, it's oil, sugar and citrus juice, so basically you can eat it, but...don't eat it!

So all you have to do is rub it on your legs, i recommend taking a newspaper or something under you legs or even do it in the bathroom because this stuff is going to get everywhere. Just put it on your legs and slightly rub it in with your hands.

Let it sit for around 5 minutes and then wash it off. After washing, your legs are just really oily, that's why you have to use body wash to get the oil off. And now, the moment of truth, has it worked?

Ladies and gentlemen, i present you, the smoothest legs you've ever had. This thing is amazing, i just can't explain it good enough, you have to try it out yourself. I can safely say that it's much better that some of the foot scrubs that are sold in the stores and it's so simple to make, what more could you ever ank for? I have to say, i was really sceptic about it in the beginning, how can oil and sugar do that and the fact that it's actually a face scrub? But i was pleasently suprised.

The moment that you're applying it, you probably think that why did i even do that, i know i did, but it's all worth it later, when your legs are smooth as baby's bottom :D

30 Day Snap #24 | Celebrating

Heyy! so i know i didn't post anything yesterday but right now i'm in the middle of two days, it's 4:37am and i haven't slept for 39,5 hours. i woke up on Saturday at 11am and haven't slept ever since, exept 2 hours half a sleep in between. Right now i'm celebrating Midsummer Eve with my friends and we had a BBQ, played some cricket and now we're laying around in the house. And fyi the bottle in the picture is alcohol free, just incase, so you wouldn't think bad about me :D

30 Day Snap #22 | testing

hey! today i've been testing out a gross DIY body scrub and will make a blog post about it soon, keep your eyes open to see wether i was impressed or disappointed by that ;)

Would You Rather Tag | Beauty Edition

Hey! So i was tegged for this tag two times, first by the lovely Becca from Miss Becca Beauty and by the lovely Maddie from A Life With Sparkles :)
When i first read those questions i was like, omg how can i anwser to these but okay, i'll give it a shot :)

1. Would you rather lose all your mascaras, eyeliners, lipstics and lip glosses or lose all your palettes and eye shadows?
Well that shouldn't be hard for me because i don't usually use eye shadows but it's hard to let go, in case i will need them in the future. I'm going to have to go with lose all the palettes and eye shadows.

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
This question made me laugh, we have actually talked about it with friends, how we hate our hair and then cut it all off and then travel somewhere until they grow back and then come back to estonia :D So yeah, chop it all off.

3. Would you rather have coral cheek or pink cheek?
I would love to say coral because i love this colour so much but i have a light skin and coral goes better with tanned skin...so pink.

4. If you had £1,000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I want both but i think makeup because just imagine how much you would get for 1,000!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
I think lipstick as eyeliner, only because i don't really use eyeliner, i can't even apply it normally, yet.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora, definately, because at MAC it's only like one brand, where at Sephore there are many different and i can try more

7. Would you rather only use one eye shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
Why am i doing this tag!? I think i'd rather use only one eye shadow again because i don't wear it much but i'm so sure that in the future i will start using eye shadow too...

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
Winter clothes in the summer, in estonia, not all summer days are very hot so i think i would survive, but wearing bikini in the winter, nooo!

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
This is easy, i don't use dark basically at all so bright.

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Give up my eye product because right now i have a very sure favourite lipstick, which i wear all the time.

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun because i honestly can't wear pony tail, my ears start sticking out so much that's why i usually wear my hair just loose.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
As much as i love painting my nails, but i also love lip gloss so i would go for never paint nails again

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have non at all or sharpie them in every day?
Oh i would look like a freak without eyebrows but i can't imagine using marker on my eyebrows, i guess i would just have to find the right colour.

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish.
I love both but i love makeup more, and i couldn't leave the house without atleast foundation or powder on.

30 Day Snap #21 | lawn mowing catastrophe

heya! today's main thing that i did was mowing the lawn, it took me like 4 hours all together. i don't know, have you ever mowed the lawn, because i hate it! what i especially hate about it is that sometimes, out of nowhere your leg  is covered with ants, the feeling is grossing me out and i start jumping around my yard like a crazy person. it's like these little suckers make their little gathering places where ever they want in the ground and then right after you ride over one with your lawnmower they're like everywhere. sometimes i kinda wish that the mower would just break into pieces so that i wouldn't have to mow the damn lawn. okay huh, rant over, now the positive part :) i found the first little red strawberries today, they were sooo delicious :) and yes, they are planted into empty cider cans haha.

Friday Wants #4

Heyy! Friday wants is back! :p The reasons that i haven't done it in between is 1. because i've been forgeting and 2. because i haven't really had any wants but this time i'm back and i really want all that stuff here.

So for this week's makeup want i have two things actually. First is Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. If you still haven't heard about it then you have been sleeping under a rock. Everybody is raving about it saying how good it is so i really want to try it. I've read so many good reviews about this product. This is about 8€, it's different depends on where you buy.

Second makeup want is Maybelline Falsies Feather Look mascara. Now, this thing has a huuuge brush, i'm kinda scared about it but i've heard and read that this mascara doesn't leave lashes stiff, like some mascaras do and also it won't be too heavy on. I have 2 mascaras right now but i'm really not happy with them, one is Beyu beauty queen volume mascara. This feels very heavy on and also when it comes to removing, it's so uncomfortable. Second is Oriflame wonder lash mascara. it's good in all ways and it has a comb instead of brush but it's not waterproof, so right after applying, when i blink it's all over under my eye and on my eye lid. On Maybelline web page it's £7.77

From fashion this week i want a laced baby pink dress from Topshop. Look how cute it is!! And it's only 20€ on topshop web page!

And finally from accesories. I'm back in Ted Baker, there's so much amazing stuff in there! This time i want a Ted Baker makeup bag. I know that Louise has it in blue and i'm pretty sure that Zoe has it too, i only don't know in what colour. I know that on Ted Baker's web page it's under the wash bags category but it can also be used as a makeup bag :D I think :) And all you people out there, you lucky bastards, i'm so jealous over you! This is £29

So that's all for my this week's wants, hope you like some of the stuff here :)

DIY | Dream Catcher

Wayaa my first DIY on this blog *round of applause* and the aplause already because i was giving myself a round of aplause when i finished editing all my pictures. My computer is back to the sloth mode and every picture takes atleast 4x more time! Grrr!
Okay, so i have seen dream catchers in so many places and i thought it really gives a beatiful effect to your room :) And as you saw from my haul post i bought some crafty stuff and said i'll make a DIY soon, here it is :)

First of all is stuff that you need:

  • Leather string
  • A (wooden) ring
  • Wooden beads and decorating stuff
  • Feathers
  • Brown string
For my wooden beads i found an old necklace but i'm absolutely sure that you can find them from any craft store.

Okay so first thing that you need to do is cover your ring in leather string (hehe a little rhyme here), you just start putting it around it. I'm going to warn you in the beginning, i suck at explaining stuff. So that's why i made some collages so that it is easier for you to understand where i'm aiming :D

I used hot glue gun to secure the beginning and the end, you can use super glue or what ever holds strong enough. You want to make sure that you have enough leather string, i was a little short on that, as you can see...

Now comes the tricky part, the braiding.

You're going to need about 3.5 meterts of brown string. Now, if you don't want beads in the net, i recommend you to make a small ball out of the string, other way, it will get messy. If you do want beads in (like i did) then you're gonna have to handle the big mess, by the end it will get easier. As i said i can't describe well so you can see it basically in the pictures. But what you have to do is put the string over the ring (pic. 3) (haha still can't get over the rhyme) and then find the end of the string and put it through the loop as you can see in pic. 4. Pull it through, make sure that the knot is thight and repeat the whole thing until you finished the first row.

For second row, it's basically the same but still a picture here for you to understand better.

Just repeat the same as with first row but instead of putting the string around the ring, put it through the loop of first row. When you pull it complitely through, make sure that the knot is exactly in the middle.

Now for you, who want beads in.

Just do like usually but before you have to put the bead on the string and then make a knot.

You can go on until the very middle of your ring, i decided to leave a hole too.

To end your circle just make a double knot and cut off the edges, not too close, or the knot will just come open.

And now then fun part, DECORATING!

You can do it how ever you want, what ever your imagination is. You can also search inspiration on google like i did. So what i did is that i put on these feathers and put some beads in the end of them and then i secured them on the ring using the same sting that i used, making the net. I also put some beads on the hook that you will after put it up with. I then finished the whole thing with some wooden hearts glued on the feathers and on the net, they also covered the finishing knot perfectly.

And there you have it! Your very own dream catcher :)

A cheeky picture of 10 year old me in the little heart

I really hope you found this helpful and maybe even try it on your own. I also hope that you understood my discriptions, if you have any questions then ask in the comment section, i'll try my best to anwser as good as i can. I have to say that i have already slept 2 nights with this in my bedroom and me, who doesn't usually dream, i had 2 very good dreams. Firts being winning a lot of money and second being meeting all the youtubers i love and having nandos with them, how awesome! Who knows, maybe this thing really works :p
Good night and sweet dreams! :)
