The Skincare Tag

Hello people! I'm back from my camp and today I'm doing yet another tag, I found it very time-approriate since as I mentioned a couple of posts back, I've been paying a lot more attention on my skin lately, so, let's get started! :)

Describe your skincare routine in 5 words.
hydrating, time-consuming, refreshing, trying-to-do-it-every-night-and-morning, sensitive

What is your skin type?
Dry to combination, also oily from some particular places - weird

What is your favourite skin care product?
That's a very good question here actually, since I mantioned that I'm doing a review on etailpr blog as a guest post, and the review is about my favourite skin care product at the moment, they just published my post and you can read it here ;)

Do you use sun protection?
I really try but sometimes I don't even want to because I don't tan too well already and I feel like with using sun cream, I reduce the possibility of getting a tan even more, but I do use after sun creams. A series that I would highly recommend is the Carribean Breeze, they have all kinds of products from sun cream to after sun to creams that alleviate sun burn

Face wipes. Yay or nay?
I have only tried one brand's face wipes and I hated them by the world! They made my skin so dry and itchy and didn't work too well on removing makeup either. Maybe it was just about the brand, I don't know but for me, face wipes are nay.

Toner. Yay or nay?
Definately yay. I use a Lush toner and it really refreshes my skin, it feels so hydrated and nice after using it!

High-end skin care or high-end makeup?
Ohh, that's really hard. I know a good skin is the very base of your makeup looking good. To be honest, I don't have any high-end makeup OR skin care products but I think that if to choose then I would rather try high-end skin care products first, you know, the ones that everybody has raved about...

What is most unusual skincare product, you have tried?
I can't say it's a product but I once tried a mayo and egg combination on my face and it did nothing else but smelt absolutely gagging reflexable and made my face feel all weird

You are in a French pharmacy, you can only pick up one item - what is it?
Only thing that is from French pharmacy that I know about has got to be Bioderma, so maybe I'd pick this one.

Tell us your top skin care tips.
Try to get into a some sort of routine where you know exactly what to use and what put on yourself next.
Drink a lot of water, everybody knows that!
Try to give yourself a mask atleast about once a week, you'll see the difference,
Also try out new products that seem to suit your skin type and problems, read reviews about different products, you can see what stuff is raved and that way you'll know better what to get for yourself :)

I hope you enjoyed this tag and my tags go to everyone who has read it, feel free to add your own questions as you do that, once again, go check out my blog post on etailpr over here :)

Five Girly Things I Suck At

Hey guys! This is actually a saved post of mine that I made in the middle of the night couple of weeks ago, in some odd reason I was feeling rather hyper energetic, considering it was like 3am. But now I thought I'd put it in use :)

Sooo...yup, you guessid it, I'm sharing you five girly things that I suck at, this is kind of a tag so feel free to consider yourself tagged ;)

1. Doing my eye liner.
I have been trying quite a few eye liners, both liquid and not liquid and I just suck at making a straingh clean line, it's just a huge mess that I try to avoid going through in the mornings!

2. Painting my right hand's nails.
It is no suprise to any right-handed person here, painting your right hand nails is a torture, no need to say anything else really

3. Bronzing and contouring.
I do have a bronzer but I don't have a decent brush for that, maybe that's what the problem is about. Anyway, I just can't put it on so that I won't look reterded, it's either way too strong or basically invisable, I just can't get it right!

4. Using up products.
Most of the time I never really use up a product complitely, I buy a new one right before my old one is almost empty and then there's always that little amount in the bottom of the bottle because I'm too excited to use the new one, especially if it's something I haven't tried before, that's why I don't usually make any 'products I've used up' posts too!

5. Being in control of my money when I'm shopping.
Pretty sure it's most girl's problem, and it's so hard to let go of the habit of having the need to use all the money that you have in your purse! My only tip for that would be, don't bring much money with you, the down side is that when you see something you really want and then you can't afford it because you spent the little amount of money that you had with you on something you don't really need that much. Then there's always your bank card/credit card, using this has a major down side, if you ask me. You don't see how much money you have spent so you have no idea how much have you actually wasted, unless you keep a count ofcourse. And that way you might end up using much MUCH more money than what you had planed on spending! Ughh, first world problems, I'm telling' you!

So these were my five girly things I suck at, hope some of you deside to do this tag too, I can't wait to see if someone has the same problem as I do, mwhaha!
Did you relate to me on something from that list?

Another news section for you, when I get home from my camp, I will be reviewing a skin care product on etailpr blog as a guest post, they were looking for bloggers to make a guest post on their blog and then I emailed them and they agreed with me doing one :) I'm excited!

You Learn Something New Everyday

When watching some of Zoe's old videos I stumbled across one where she said, and I quote "Well, you learn something new everyday" Those of you who have watched all of her videos many many times, (just like me) probably know which video it's from ;) This sentence stayed hunting in my ears for a long time and I couldn't help but do something with it, so, I made a blog post, probably something a blogger would do!

I was so inspired by this so I wanted to make my own picture of this little quote, I quite like how it turned out :)

Basically what I want to say is that I, and now hopefully some of you too, try to find something from each day, that you didn't know before! It could literally be the smallest thing ever! I started this a few days ago and here's something that I have wrote down for myself:

If you feel like you want to sneeze, say "pineapple"
I have a lot of CDs that I have never listened
I have a hole in my leggings
Walking around in our capital is still very hard for me

I hope you found this post even a bit inspirational and I hope to continue taking just a few seconds out of my day to think about what I have learned from this day.

Also I'm going to my last art school camp for a week next Monday. I won't be posting anything then because I'm not even sure if we get a decent internet connection there and I'm not complaining :) If I do have interent then I might publish one of my saved posts so, don't consider me complitely out of the blogger world for that week :)

NOTD | Dotted ombré

Heyy! It's time for another nail of the day! I've seen this style all over pinterest and tumblr (yes i'm back on tumbler damn) and I though, how hard can it be? Turns out, very! I desided that I'd try to do these just before I went off to my granny's and since it took more time than expected, I only managed to finish my left hand :D

I used again ANNY high gloss top coat
Maybelline Colorama in 214
Wild and Crazy in W13 Baja

This was the most random colour pick ever, I literally just saw a picture of these nails and though I'd do it, I used the colours that were on my table left from the last time I did my nails. For dotting tool I used a grill stick because I'm obviousely too poor to afford a 3€ dotting tool (hence the sarcasm)

It does take a lot of time to do indeed but I think I might try it with some more colours that go well with each other, any suggestions?

What's in my travel makeup bag+kittens?

Hello! I've been wanting to do this post for ages now but unfortunately I haven't had the reason. Now though, I spent the last two days at the countryside at my great granny's and other relatieves. It was such a nice relaxy time there was no computer, no internat and no good channels on tv so i could really just enjoy the warm weather and also there was a lake very near, thrilling! :) I was actually planing on staying there for longer so I took a bit too much stuff with me, therfor I also have too much makeup-y stuff.

First is skin products

I took my The Body Shop hand cream, as you could read from my earlier blog post, I love it and I feel the need to use it every day.
Also took Lush toner water, since I've started using it, I really feel that my skin is better, I don't know is it because I want it to be like that or does it really work that well and that fast?
Ofcourse had to have a deodorant, cause you gotta keep it fresh and clean :D I'm very low on my Adidas one and I actually think I'll try a Bourjois one next, I've heard great stuff about that.
And obviousely if you have makeup then you have to have a remover and pads, I'm using again Bourjois, I love it so much and I think that I have like 4-5th bottle of it going on right now
The body lotion is something that I didn't use there since, well I only was there for one night and that night I was really tired, I think we finished the BBQ around 12-1am, atleast it felt like it.
Batiste dry shampoo is something that I desperatly needed to use, it is a countryside and the showering opportunities there are very poor and I hate washing my head there, I have to pour water from a bowl and all that jazz, it's a mess...
Also something that I find helpful for my skin is Garnier moisture match moisturiser, love it and I'm glad I bought it.
Sudocrem is my very new discovery, I know it's used on baby's bottoms and so but I have a weird bump on my chin and I find Sudocrem kinda helpful for that.

From makeup, I really don't feel the need to have much stuff, I believe you agree with me on that

Most of the stuff I used when we left there because we went to town and shopping.
I only used Beyu light reflecting concealer, Burt's Bees lip...balm?, lash curlers and Maybelline falses rocket mascara. Obviousely have to have something to tie my hair up, the weather was so warm and I quite hate it when my hair is making me feel even hotter.
When leaving I also used Manhattan compact powder and Accessorize lip gloss and some perfume sample, kind of hated the scent of it :/
Also took my glass nail file, thought I'd need it but fortunately it got to stay in the bottom of my makeup bag, until I had to take the pictures :)

Did you notice that I had a lovely background in my pictures today? :P They have a huge house and there's also a balcony and I loved hanging out there so I also took my pictures there.

In the middle of jazzling around there a curious cat came to me and wanted to play with my phone so I thought I'd just have to take a picture and include him/her in my post :) How cute is it! <3 There are what it seems like millions of cats there. Yeah I'm exaggerating (a lot) but it does feel like that, there are couple of grown up cats who always seem to have baby kittens and they grow up and have kittens of their own etc. This time there was one really cute kitten, white and black, and it loved hanging out in the house and on my lap and in the hands of only few year old boys and gals (don't think it enjoyed the last part though, whoopsy) Look at me just chit chatting around about cats and when it was supposed to be all-beauty post, I just love cats!

Also, please don't tell me that I'm the only one who used to watch this
cartoon (totally spies) like forever ago and didn't even remember it still exists?!
I saw a little boy watching it there and I had such a huge slap of nostalgy in my face!

Review | The Body Shop hand cream

Hey! I just realised that I haven't made a proper post for a while, so today I'll be reviewing one of my favourite products at the moment, The Body Shop Wild Rose hand cream.

I bought it abouts 2 weeks ago and I have used it every day ever since. I don't usually actually like using hand creams because the leave my hands so oily and then I can't do anything for a while. So I was really doubtful about buying it in the first place.

When I used it for the first time I was very suprised, positivly! When usually for me hand creams leave my hands too oily, then this one soaked right in, it's so easy to apply and it's consistency is just perfect for me.

I use it in the morning and right before I go to bed that makes my hands nice and moisturised throughout the whole day. Usually my hands are super dry, sometimes even painful because of all the chipped skin. It might sound cheesy but I think I could say that this cream works miracles on my skin!

What is said about the product:

This daily hand cream with rosehip oil provides much needed moisture to mature skin while helping to reduce the appearance of brown spots.
  • Helps reduce the appearance of brown spots
  • With SPF 15
  • For mature skin
  • Rose scent
What I say:

The smell of rose isn't very understandable but it also isn't an unpleasent scent. It really moisturises better than any other hand cream, I've tried.

  • I don't really have much brown spots so I don't know how to comment about that
  • SPF is definately a bonus especially in summer, I've actually had my hands a bit burned and it does not feel good!
  • Yup, it's for mature skin but I honestly don't care, I love it!
  • As I said before the rose isn't too obvious but I still like it. If this scent isn't you cup of tea, then they have the same cream also in hemp, almond and absinthe scent with different effects.
In Conclusion, I truly recommend it, right now they have huge bargains in their stores so go and grab the opportunity! :)

Have you tried it or any other scent before? Which other hand creams would you recommend for me?

Also a little news section for you guys, on this Saturday, the 13th of July I will be co-hosting a blog hop on Townhouse Palette so make sure you check out my blog post about it already this Saturday! I'm so exited for it! :)

Friday Wants

Hey! This time I desided to do friday wants a little differently. It was too hard for me to just choose 3 items so I took 6 and they're not categorized :)

So first thing that I've been wanting for ages now is Real techniques expert face brush. My friend has a collection of Real Techniques brushes and I've tried it and it was so soft and so many people use it, so it has to be good.

I've been wanting Bioderma ever since I first saw a youtuber using it but now that I know that I can actually get it too, I want it even more!

This bag is from Asos and I saw Louise using it in Tanya's vlog, yes youtubers have a huge impact on my life. And I just loved it, I'm thinking about ordering it from Asos but I'm not too sure how much is the shipping and all that.

Tanya Burr is always talking about how good eyeshadow Mac Woodwinked is so I woud love to try it out.

I see bloggers all around the blogsphere adding Soap and Glory hand food to their monthly favourites so I thought, this thing must be good. So yeah, I want it :)

When me and Anita went to town on Wednesday, we also went to Pull and Bear. I saw really cute shorts there and now that I tried to find them on their website, I couldn't. So these are the closest that I found. The ones that I loved were green ombre over to white and they also weren't ripped.

And that is all for my wants this time, hope you had a splended week! :)

Collective Haul

Hello again! Recently I have been shopping two times so I thought I'd show you what I bought. I went on Saturday and yesterday and I must say that yesterday was probably the most exiting shopping I've ever done :) I went there with my friend Anita from Anita's wonderland definately go check out her lovely blog, she also just started :) Anyway on Saturday I bought more like clothes so I won't be paying much attention on them, yesterday I saw quite a few interesting brands for me :) Let's get cracking!

First then these are the clothes that I picked up, some being  quite out of my comfort zone, something that I usually wouldn't wear, like these mint green jeans. I actually just grabbed them with me on my way to the fitting rooms because I was wearing a dress and I wanted to try some blowses but once they were on me I started liking them. Everywhere was such a bargaing, literally like where else could you get jeans for 12€, exept primark, which we sadly don't have in Estonia. And there were like jackets going down from 12€ to 3€ and stuff like that so it was cool.

Now comes the exciting bit.

First there is hair & skin

So I am absolutely sure that you already recognize the green bottle, everybody has raved about it, seems like the whole world has it exept me so I thought I'd give it a shot, it's Macadamia natural oil No Tangle. This thing s freaking expencive so it better be worth the hype! I haven't tried it yet but my mum has and she said it's nothing special and she doesn't like it :/
I also finally got the Garnier Nordic Moisture Match moisturizer, in a tester form it worked well so I hope the real one does the same.
Since there are such bargains in TBS right now I just had to use the opportunity somehow so I got myself that Wild Rose hand cream, it smells nice, works well and was cheap considering it's The body Shop :)
Lastly got Batiste dry shampoo, I'm running out of my current one and I have a camp coming soon so this thing is nessesary.

Next up is Nails & Makeup

So again huge bargain on nailpolishes, they were literally thrown into a glass box and the label said the price was like 2€ I think. I got the Maybelline colorama in 214 mint green, I love this colour so much and I've been wanting a mint polish for ages now. The second one is more what my sister wanted, I'm not the fan of that kind of green but it is the Rimmel I heart lasting finish in 046 Shout out loud (love the name)
Then I got another very raved product, Maybelline the rocket volume express and I accidently got it in brown but I actually don't mind. It looks very nice and honestly I can't tell much difference.
And I don't know if you have tried Accesorize lip glosses but from now on, I'm in love. They're pigmented, they smell amazing, the packaging is oh so cute and it doesn't cost much! They also have a lovely range of tones from deep red to baby pink to bright orange.

And now, I've saved the most exciting bits the last.

Ohmygosh I finally went to lush. I was so excitied the whole day knowing that I'm going there. I have to say the prices were a bit bigger than I expected but nothing too bad luckily. We spent a lotta time there just looking at the products, I bet Lush is no thrill for most of you reading this but for me it was something new :) I got myself the Eau Roma Water, which is a toner water and I also got the R&B hair mask. I am so excited to try these out and I'm most probably doing a review too.

And the biggest suprise of the day was

Yup Burt's Bees. Again nothing huge for you but seeing these things in Estonia, it is something. Just casually walking round the store and then my friend is like look Burt's Bees and I thought that no way, but yes way, it was, I am so excited just writing this :D Obviousely I had to buy one, I got the one with mango butter, wich smells amazing!

And probably the very biggest suprise was thet we saw Bioderma. My friend said that someone had mentioned that she saw Bioderma in Estonian pharmacy so we thought we'd just check it out and there it was!! I didn't have any money, literally any money left so I couldn't buy it but next time I go to town I'm definately going to add that to my basket.

Last thing that I'm showing you is some product samples that we got. Never actually thought about asking for samples but when the Lush lady offered us some then we went back to the other store and ased for few over there too.

From lush we both got face masks
Then we also went to Kiehl's!!! <-----see that excitement! And there we asked for 3 samples but she gave us 5 :) We got the Midnight recovery concentrate, Midnight recovery eye, Clearly corrective dark spot solution, Ultra light daily UV defnse SPF 50 and Actively correcting & beautifying BB cream.
We also went to the Elizabeth Arder counter and got the Eight hour cream skin protectant.

It was all so exciting and in our mall we have like this thing called beauty world where are all these high-end products and normal products in a big room and every brand has it's own section so it was so cool to walk around there and see all these Chanel and Mac and O.P.I and all stuff like that :)

I also had my first Yo youghurt yesterday, which is basically frozen youghurt and you get to choose your own toppings, and it tasted heavenly :P

And for those of you, who have sticked til the end just a little reminder that I have a giveaway going on on my blog, so go and take part of that.

And yeah, hope you enjoyed that little long haul post :)
