Red lipstick purchase | Take: two

Hey again! As you may have read from one of my previous posts, my first time buying a red lipstick wasn't too successful but, as I really wanted a red lipstick, I was in a hunt for a different, a much better one. So with few recommendations from friends and also Zoella I ended up getting the Rimmel Kate Moss in shade 111 Kiss Of Life, how cute :3

This lipstick is amazing, the fact that it's so pigmented and again, it's a Rimmel product which means that it's not pricey at all. It could really just cost 15€ and I wouldn't be suprised. But luckily, Rimmel seems to be loving their customers and has made their prices very reasonable and in everybody's budget. I just realised that I catch myself talking about the price so much and not too much about the product itself, sorry about that haha, I'll get to the goodness of the lipstick now.

So, as I said, it's super pigmented and glides on your lip really easily. Another major plus  is the delicious fresh cherry smell that it has, makes me want to lick it off my lips immediately, doesn't taste too good by the way ;) I haven't worn it too much yet but I did wear it out in town for a whole day and it stayed on really well, I also drank and ate and didn't have to retouch it not once!

I love the package, the little black Kate signature is so cute. I know they have it in black and in red, I personally like the red one more. There's something about the package that makes it look expencive I think it's because of the sugnature?
Since a red lip is REALLY stepping out of my comfort zone I like to try out different outfits and makeup with this colour in the comfort of my own home. I tried it with smokey eye (clearly too much) and with just a light lid (yup that's the one) and also tried it with dresses, jeans, skirts, you know, just played with the colour, don't know when I'm going to wear it though but I'll figure something out :)

Is red something that you wear with ease? Have you tried stepping out of your comfort zone? Have you tried the Kate Moss collection?

Rant rant RANT!

I'm in a really ranty mood right now and my brain is probably working faster than I can type so if you don't care for rants, go ahead, click away.

Don't you just hate when you're in a store or a mall or anything like that and you're really in a hurry but you need the thing that you're buying so you're running around the store, looking for that ONE THING that you need and it's nowhere to be found. So I decided to ask for help and then I probably picked the wrong person, seriousely like, she was sooooo sloooow, first she thought and then she thought more and then she started walking, guess how? Yup, sloooowly.
Okay so I finally somehow got the thing I needed, I was already running late and then you see the longest line ever waiting in front of you, THEN you see, there's only one cash working, why the hell don't they just send one of their many many workers into the second cash to make the line shorter, no, they don't see the problem, come on, it's staring right at you!!
Then it was fianlly my turn, I'm 99.9% sure that the cashier was a beginner, she was so slow and she just didn't know how to peep the stuff through the red thingy there. Like whaat, they only have one cash working AND they send the slowest, the newest worker to serve the customers, why?!?!
But no, that wasn't enough, I was also buying some peaches and then they were there sitting nicely in the plastic bag and when I payed the money, the cashier pushed my things a bit further so that the next customer's stuff could fit on the escalator thingy too and then accidently one peach rolled straight out of the bag, I was like oh what ever, but, the cashier, as if I wasn't in a hurry enough, she just started speaking like sorry sorry omg I'm so sorry, can I help you some how, I really apologize, I hope you're okay...like what! It was a freakin peach rolling out of a freakin plastic bag, it's not the end of the world, I'm not dying. come. on.
So just when I thought it was all over and I can just go on and be late I discovered that they're putting some floor thing between the two doors of the store and I couldn't get out of the store, why?! So I had to wait another 2 or 3 minutes until they got the wodden thing on the floor and I could get out

Okay, I think I just had my first rant on my blog, I feel a lot better now after getting it all out of me. Since it is a rant about stores, malls, supermarkest etc. I thought I'd talk about other stuff that sometimes annoyes me about these places.

When the cashier gives you back too little money, on purpose, how do I know it's on purpose? After you tell her that um you didn't give me my money back the right amount, she just looks at you with the deadly look like why did you have to notice it...well here's a newsflash for you missy, I'm not a stupid 7 year old who can't tell when you're clearly giving me back the wrong amount of money, suprise suprise indeed!

When the workers don't know where the stuff is. Like if you work there, and you have "need help? ask me" written all over your back then you should know where are the things that customers are looking for. When I ask you something and you say sorry I don't think we even have it in our store and then a few minutes later I accidently spot the same thing that I was looking for and that you said that you don't even have it in your store then you're clearly not a good worker, it only hurts you, I can go to anther store and pick up the same item from there when I could just purchase the same thing from your store and you would get paid more. Okay it doesn't work quite like that but still, get. to. know. your. stores!

When all the fruits and veggies are looking horrendous. You go to your mall, you want to be healthy, you walk up to the fruit table and each and every one of them is just ugly and uneatable, this is just disgusting.

Sometimes I have seen the big cart that the workers use to deliver the new stuff on the counters and then the isles are so narrow and the cart takes away all the room and you have to go with a tour to get to the stuff you want to buy. Or even worse when the cart is standing right in front of the stuff you need.

That is all, for now atleast :)

Recipe | quick and easy lavash

Hello! I have another delicious recipe to share with you today, you guys seem to like my foody posts :) Today my mum wasn't home and I had to find something to eat and I thought what would be quick, delicious and healthy - a lavash ofcourse. Since I wasn't planing on making a blog post about it in the first place then I can't tell you the exact amounts of stuff you need but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

You can really choose what ever you want for the filling but I desided to go with pizza topping (a pack of little pieces of ham), 1 pepper, cheese, basil and some green salad, and obvilusely a lavash sheet. To give it a bit more flavour and softness I used cream cheese and spread it on the sheet.

So after you're done with the cream cheese, take your green salad and put it all over your sheet. Chop up the pepper and sprinkle it on your lavash, then add the pizza topping and cheese and If you want to give some more flavour then add some basil. Looks good already, right?

Then what I find the most effective way to roll it up without loosing too much flling is first to almost fold it in half and then roll it all the way.

Now all you gotta do is chop it carefully trying to keep it all in and put it on your plate.
If you want then you can eat it with some sauce, even caesar's salad dressing works fine, or majo, I prefer to eat it the way it is.

Tadaa! :)

Hope you try too and enjoy!

And whilist you're cooking, why don't you listen to that, oldy but a goodie :)

I'm in love

See this is just how pathetic my life is. I'm in love with a foundation, yay. But yes, I finally hopped on the band wagon (as all the bloggers love to say) and got the Rimmel wake me up foundation, it was a love at first blend!

I didn't expect it to have such a good coverage yet at the same time look so natural. The best part about it is the price, it costs barely anything considering it's so good quality foundation, compared to 25€ MAC foundation (which I was lucky enough to get an example of) I would expect Rimmel to have more expencive price than 7€.

What I usually hate about foundations is the specific smell that most of them have, wake me up is far from that, it actually smells great to be honest.

I can't even think of a bad thing to say about it, maybe there isn't any. The packaging is really simple and nice - less is more!

What is also great about it especially for summer is that it has SPF15, no need to worry about using sunscreen on face anymore.

When you look at the foundation in bottle in the light you can see a slight shimmer in it, I guess that's what gives your skin that nice radiant glow, I'm all for it!

I now might want to try the concealer too as the foundation was such a great suprise, actually not a suprise since I had read so many good reviews about it.

Have you tried it? What did you think?

Farewell! xx

Products that have dissapointed me

Hey! I've seen this kind of post all over the blogsphere and today I was looking through the products that I have and I discovered some that have really disappointed me. If some of the products here work for you then good for you because people are different and so are the products that suit them :)

So first up is Lush R&B hair mask. This just doesn't feel right, once I put it in my hair, it weighs my hair down and the jar says that it's a leave-in mask but I'm not too sure about it, it leaves hair really greasy, i tried putting less in but the end result still didn't please me. If you like it and know how to use it then please do tell me, I waisted quite a lot of money with that. It smells great though :P But I'm really enjoying Lush toner water so I'm not saying goodbye to Lush products quite yet.

This is a pack of Tami face wipes and I think I've already said that I don't like them but yeah, for me it causes some allergy on my skin and it doesn't actually do a good job with removing makeup either. Also I'm not the biggest fan of the smell, if I want to use face wipes I want them to smell great!

Next is Nivea makeup remover, I'm not sure if it's for eyes or not because I think it's geraman on the bottle and I no longer have the estonian label there. Anyway, same, doesn't really remove makeup, it doesn't have a specific scent, kind of neutral I guess. My all time favourite makeup remover is Bourjois, I've gone through dozens of bottles of that. I actually use up a makeup remover really fast, it just disappears in my hands.

oh, what, a sudden yellow background?!
So, umh Beyu beauty queen volume mascara. I wouldn't say that the mascara itself is all bad besides that it's a bit junky but when it comes to removal it's really uncomfortable, I can't even describe but I just can't remove it properly.

Wild and Crazy nail varnish in yellow. I don't actually even wear yellow nail polish I honestly don't know why I bought it, I guess I had one of these days when I just wanted to splurdge with money, not good for me! But about the polish, it basically has no coverage at all. I put 4 layers of it and you could barely see it on nails. It's just because it's yellow - you would think. But no, I also have a Sally Hansen polish in yellow and this covers perfectly with just one layer.

The last thing is a red lipstick from a very weird brand, never heard of it, I think its name is Kredo. I really wanted a red lipsick despite that I probably won't wear it, everyone has to have at least on red listick in their makeup bag. This one is not pigmented at all, it almost like just leaves a sheer hint of red on your lips plus it's junky and really oily. Not a pleasure to use.

So that is all and today I wanted to share a really nice song with you. It has literally been constantly on replay from my phone the last days, hope you like it too, I'm even listening to it as I write this post :)

Sorry i couldn't find the original video

Actually, there's another song, enjoy :)

Collective Beauty Haul

Hey there people! So I have been shopping again and I hate myself for that, I was supposed to be saving for laptop but, oh well :D But as I still did go, I thought it would be worth showing you what I bought and talk about this stuff.

Makeup

Bourjois lip pencil Peach On The Beach
These kind of lip pencils are quite a new trend and people seem to be loving them. A brand that I have heard and read great reviews about is Bourjois. So as I went to town I crossed my fingers that estonian stores sell these too, and they do! When I swatched it in store it seemed quite sheer and not too pigmented but once I put it on my lips at home, it's darker as it seems and also a lot more pigmented. And I love love love the name :)

Maybelline Fit Me foundation
I have been wanting the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation for ages now. Unfortunately they don't Sell Rimmel products in the shop I went to but as I was in need for a decent coverage foundation I had to go for a bit more expencive one, I see what the stores do there ;) Anyway, I saw the Fit Me and I thought that I've heard people loving it too so I picked this one. When I tried it at home I was a bit disappointed because I was looking for a full coverage foundation but this one isn't really. Luckily it is buildable so it can easily transform into a full coverage foundation.

Misslyn eyeshadow palette
This is actually my first eyehadow that I have ever bought and I wanted matt palette because I already have 2 shimmery tones, it looked very matt when it was in the store but once I put in on my eyelid, it was maybe even more shimmery than the one I already had. So I guess I have to go for a hunt of some more eyeshadows. But about this one, I love all the colours, it also had this applicator but I don't understand people who can use it, just so impossible! This palette has a lovely light colour which could've been used as highlighter if it was matt, and then 3 different shades of brown.

Better eyelash curlers
I definately needed some new curlers cause my old is looking horrendous, I can't even look at it, it's so dirty and the little pad over there is coming off all the time. I saw these and thought, well it is about time and they weren't expencive at all.

Skin

Fruttini body spray
I wasn't actually looking for a body spray but when I saw it, I needed to buy it just because of the scent. It's lime and mint, could it get any better?! I'm literally in love with it right now, I spray it on ALL. THE. TIME. and I wouldn't be suprised if I'll hit the bottom in a week. This is such a nice thing to have in summer wether you're going on the beach or just laying around in your garden. When you're feeling hot, spary it on and it immediately gives you this nice fresh feeling. In Estonia weathers have been really hot the past few days and then I just carry it around with me everywhere.

Rexona deodoorant
Well everyone needs a good deodorant and I love the scent of it. That's all.

Garnier PureActive
I have already made a review about it, see how far back this haul is going!  It's on etailpr and you can read it here :)

Garnier after sun
It is another cream from Garnier and lately they're putting out these kind of sorbet consistency creams and I am defnately loving them. It gives a nice cooling effect when you put it on after you've been frying in the sun for a day or so and it relieves the burn if you are burned. Also the smell is amazing, it's pomegranate...I have some weird attraction to products that smell good, even if the effect is not so much.

Jewellery

I don't usually buy and wear necklaces but when I saw the feather one in reserved (I think) I tried it on and it suited well with my blowse so I thought it would look nice with some other clothes of mine too and I bought it. Now I might have a bit of obsession with this necklace. Anyway, after buying it I saw this rose gold knot necklace and since it was bargain I just had to buy it (screw my logical thinking that this doesn't really go with any clothes I have...) Hopefully though I'll find a top or something to wear it with.

So this was quite a small haul but I'm going to Sweden on August 15th (yes this time I'm really going after 3 failed attempts *cough* damn you mum*cough*) and then I might or might not do a clothes haul, I'm not too sure about that. I also finally changed my quote of the month, I don't even know if you're reading them but yeah, oh and I made a new page on my blog too called quote of the month, I will be putting every quote there since August's because I simply don't remember the previous quotes. Have a nice week! :)

...I really want a cool sentence or word to end my blog post with...

Dancing in the rain

Hey there! I'm sorry for not posting anything for a week I think. I've been quite busy with our folk dancing festival, there have been some nights when I got home around 3 or 4 am and had to wake up at 9:30 am so I was too tired to consentrate on my blog.

I just wanted to share with you my festival experience because I felt like it was awesome this year :)
First a couple of days before the concerts we had 2 days of rehersal, first day was very nice and sunny but considering that we danced like 3 hours straight it was way too hot. The second day on the other hand was so rainy and we had to dance with rain poring on us and later there was also thundering and lightning, which to me was freakin scary.
The first days of the festival me and my dance group didn't perform so I just watched other people dancing and singing, oh and we also had some groups outside estonia too, like Scotland  group called McLennan (you can't imegine how much I enjoyed like literally listening the real and pure english that they spoke), Russia, Czeck and Poland.

Here are some pictures of them performing on stage.

That's the scottish group and it was so funny because they were men wearing skirts, or well, kilts, and they were dancing like ballerinas, so it was very entretaining to watch, well done, scotland!
This is a man palying the original scotland's bag pipes.

This was Czeck I think

This is Poland and just look at their clothes, even thicker and warmer than ours!

That was the stage with the logo

Poland group again, the man who is looking in the camera saw me taking picture and then he smiled but unfortunatley my phone was too slow so it only captured the moment of him being grumpy.

Russians!

This is so cool, it's the scottish couple and to me they look a bit royal,
I don't know :P

That's my wrist band that got me everywhere for free because I was one of the performes.
In yo face, people who had to pay to get in! :D
And that's the flag

Any who, there were also these huge turtles for us to see and I mean they were huge!

For 3 days there were festival clubs in our school canteen, We had like our own table there and basically what people did there was dancing, different countries showed everybody their dances and then anybody could join it. It was so much fun and festival clubs are probably the best part about our folk dancing festivals.

The last day was the main concert where we also performed, in the evening there was a parade or something where every dance group walked from one place to another to perform on stage.

the stage and some of the dancers

that is me in my clothes, sorry about the face, it's really hard to take
a selfie in full lengt...

And that's our sign that we used in the parade, yes our group name is Tindar
and the sign looks like it's for a football team but it's just temporary.
And you can also see the boy's version our our clothes...somewhat

That night was very fun, first there were different dance groups performing again and later that night a band came to sing, where everybody danced again, not folk dancing anymore.. At 11 pm we saw fireworks and my picture quality is really poor because once again, it was taken with phone.

After that the band played a little more and when they finished, some people just satyed there to dance on top of the tables and 'party on'
Me and my friends also stayed but we were a bit away from the other people and then we just chatted and well basically, it was something new to me but as I said it was very fun. I ended up getting home at 4 am and I had to get up at 10 am for my friend's birthday at the beach, soo yeah, I'm still very tired but today was the first day over 3 or 4 days when I got to sleep as long as I wanted.

I am curious, does your homwtown do these kind of festivals too, and do you take part, wether it's performing there or just watching other people perform?
