Hey, today i'm sharing another recipe with you and i got this from Tanya Burr's video who got it from Vivianna does makeup blog post, who got it from some guy on youtube :) these cookies are so delicious but really sweet so you probably can't eat more than 1 cookie in a row :) it's supposed to be this gooey on the inside and soft on the outside cookie but mine didn't kinda work out....khmm don't know what i did wrong but mine came out just soft all the way through but the taste was really nice :p
So what you need is:
200g (unsalted) butter
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder
2 big bars of chocolate (white and milk or do whatever combo you want)
A zip of milk
Turn your oven on 220 degrees Celcius
Firstly you need to melt the butter so that it'd be smuschable with sugar, i used microwave for that and then you must measure out the sugar, since i didn't have a scale or well, i couldn't find mine then i had to get my cooking knowledge out and bam, i knew that 100g is 1dl and that 1dl is half a glass and then i made some quick calculations and i put in the bowl 1.5 glass of sugar and used the same technique with measuring all the other stuff too (get your cooking skills out!) Now you have to use your mixer (or muscles) to mix it all into smooth dough thingy. add egg and mix again, it should be looking something like that.

So mine looked like this after cooling and cutting :)

Throw in your dry ingredients: flour, cocoa and chocolate bars broke into (not too small) pieces. i couldn't find 2 big bars so i took 4 small ones. I didn't have self-raising flour so i just mixed normal flour with about a tsp of baking powder, i think it makes up the same...anyway now things might seem a little dry so use your zip of milk to give it a bit more liquid, don't use water, it'll ruin the flavour! and mix it all up, this time not with mixer, use a spoon or something. Now a very important step, don't forget to taste your yummy dough ;) you know to make sure it's not too salty... ;)

| Yummy! :P |
Cover 2 trays with baking paper and start scooping the poop looking dough in your hands like this, make about this size balls and lay them on the tray, not too close tho or... well, you'll see.

Put it in the oven for 10 minutes and then they should be ready, if they seem a bit too soft still then don't worry, it's supposed to be like that, it'll cool down and turn a bit harder. So yeah, apparently i put mine too close and this happened, instead of cookies i got a delicious cake.
I couldn't wait until cooling down so i ate a bit of mine with a spoon and the warm chocolate inside was so good!
You can always add some nuts or berries in the dough too, it's your choice :)So mine looked like this after cooling and cutting :)
I hope you try it and if you did then enjoy your warm chocolate cookies (these are the ones that i promised to give you in my April favourites post :) )
